DO U ACTism is a project co-funded by the European Union. The project is a co-creation of five independent Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) from five countries: Stichting MasterPeace (Netherlands), MasterPeace Morocco (Morocco), LUMEN (Croatia), SIT (Kosovo) and LDN (Lebanon).
Our common mission is to mobilise talents for a sustainable future and to contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) – Quality Education – and SDG 16 – Peace and Justice. The organisations provide expertise in non-formal education and youth work, including working with minorities and underprivileged youngsters. Partners are experienced in peacebuilding, youth empowerment and online working.

CSOs working with youth are challenged by interrelated themes like the lack of social inclusion, climate dilemma’s and lack of jobs perspectives. CSOs need to develop new ways to engage, connect and empower youngsters.

DOUACTism project aims to boost the competence, capacity and recognition of CSOs in a transnational coalition of CSOs by jointly learn, evaluate, develop and implement innovative NFE formats that support our ambition to engage, connect and empower youngsters (especially young women in rural areas) outside formal learning. We do this by creating an innovative portfolio of NFE materials that is digital, easy to use and scalable focused on social inclusion, environmental challenges and a social entrepreneurial mindset.
